Step into the heart of Ilulissat's most iconic landscape and experience the Icefjord from the water. This is a relaxed and peaceful tour where we navigate between massive icebergs that have calved from the glacier and drift slowly out into Disko Bay. No two trips are the same, the ice is constantly moving, changing shape, and creating new scenery.
At selected moments, we turn off the engine and let the boat drift quietly among the ice. Here, you can truly experience the stillness of the Arctic, broken only by distant cracks and the natural sounds of the fjord. Along the way, we often encounter local life. You may see fishermen working throughout the day, and depending on the season, there is a chance of spotting marine life.
This is also a chance to hear the story of Ilulissat. Your guide will share insights about everyday life in the Arctic, including fishing, hunting, and the history of the town and surrounding area. At times, we may collect ancient glacier ice from the water, ice that has broken off from Sermeq Kujalleq. You're welcome to taste it, or enjoy it with your own drink for a unique Arctic moment.
Whether you choose to relax or take photos, this tour is designed to let you experience the Icefjord at your own pace.

Stunning icebergs and a knowledgeable skipper. Dress warm, the wind is sharp out on the water. Would do it again.
The highlight of our Greenland trip. Seeing the icebergs up close is something photos cannot capture.
Absolutely magical. The crew served glacier ice in our drinks, a lovely touch.
