A 6.5-hour journey north through Disko Bay to the Eqi Glacier, where we spend around 2 hours in front of the impressive ice wall. The sailing time is normally 1.5–2 hours each way. We allow extra time for Arctic conditions, as dense ice can sometimes slow our progress. On days with favorable conditions, we often use the extra time to search for whales along the way.
